Plant Care Problem Solving

• Our knowledgable staff will help identify problems with your plants and offer suggestions for solving problems. If possible bring in a leaf or branch with the problem, preferrably in a plastic bag, and we will be better able to assist you.
  
  
  
• We maintain a complete line of insect, fungus, and disease control products, including certified organic gardening remedies.
  
  
• House Calls: We can visit your house or business site to offer advice on your plant related problems. Charge is $10 per hour (includes time to and from the site).

Delivery

We can deliver your plants and/or other items within the area from Diamond Point to the west side of Port Angeles. The charge is $10 for a 5 mile distance and about $5 for each additional 5 miles.

Landscaping:

We provide a quick and very affordable landscape design service. The process usually involves a visit to your location to review the layout of your yard and to discuss your preferences in plants and the size and shape of your planting beds. We then produce a hand drawn landscape sketch that includes a list of suggested plants. Charge is $10 per hour (includes time to and from the site and office time to prepare the design). A typical residential site will take between 3 to 5 hours to complete.

We work with many landscaping and yard service companies and can provide you with several options to meet your needs. Services provided by these companies include full service landscaping, water feature installation, yard and garden maintenance, hardscaping (patios, pathways, etc.), pruning, planting, irrigation and plant insect and disease control.

Custom Container Gardening

We will help you design a container or hanging basket in the store (no charge) or, we can do some or all of it for you - including delivery. The charge is $10 per hour plus the cost of the materials. It typically takes about a half-hour per basket or container

If you'd like, we can make your container and store it in one of our greenhouses for 3 to 6 weeks. This will speed up the growing and get it blooming quicker. No charge. We can also visit your home or business and plant or freshen-up your containers - or bring them back to the nursery for planting.

Gardening and Landscaping Education

We have many educational classes throughout the year. Subjects include pruning, gardening tips, disease and pest control, container planting, landscape design, and much more. Class instructors include garden, yard and plant maintenance professionals, landscape designers, horticulturists and experienced container planting designers.  All classes are free, except those involving the purchase of plants and materials.

Special Orders

Come to us for those hard to find plants and/or landscaping materials. We can't promise you we will find them, but we will do some research and see if we can locate a source. Leave us your name and phone number and we'll get back to you as soon as possible (sometimes it can take a few weeks). We also transfer inventory between the Sequim and Port Townsend stores and are happy to get a plant from our other store for no additional charge within the week.
